Do you post reminder notes all over your house and office? Does your phone constantly remind you about things that you need to do? Reminders are a part of our everyday lives. They help us ensure that we take care of the things we need to do. Peter doesn't want us to forget about our spiritual lives and health either. This weekend, we will study Peter's letter to us as he talks about how we need to be reminded of spiritual things. Our reminders sometimes are simple tasks, like picking up a loaf of bread on the way home. Peter's reminder, however, reminds us about things that have eternal consequences!
