The Family Crises
December 3, 2023 Pastor: Dr. Jeffrey D. Hoy Series: The Crises of the Creche
Verse: Luke 1:26–38, Matthew 1:18–24
If there is any crisis we can relate to, it is one within the family. It is within the family that we first experience love, nurture, and safety. But this is also where we first experience disappointment, pain, and loss. So it was for the birth of Jesus.
The Lord could have appeared in any sort of family— a “perfect,” or Royal, or privileged, or religious, or famous family. But God chose for His Son to be born into a poor working family—to an unmarried teenager. Talk about a crisis. There were several to say the least.
Join us this weekend as we explore the Crises of the Creche: The Family Crises.
