Peter. We know him, or we think we do-- perhaps as the fisherman turned church leader, or the Saint we will meet at the pearly gates? Who was this boisterous, impetuous, outspoken coward who was transformed into the most courageous preacher of the early church? He never wrote a Gospel, but he was one of the two most influential leaders ever to shape the direction of early Christian history.
