Haggai: That I May Take Pleasure in It

Verse: Haggai 1:3–9
Haggai is a short book in the Bible. But the message is a powerful one. Haggai addressed the leaders of Jerusalem during a time of rebuilding. They were just back a few years from Exile in Babylon. The magnificent Temple of Solomon was a heap of rubble-- destroyed 50 years earlier. But there were many other needs calling out. How do you rebuild after disaster?
For Haggai, the answer was simply about priority. He brought a powerful promise from the Lord. If you will set your priority on rebuilding the place or the Lord, He will be with you, bless you, and provide all that you need.
We live in a time of rebuilding, but it is much different. The walls of our churches in America are intact, but the basic fabric of fellowship has been torn by a year of pandemic, distanced worship, and uncertainty about the future. We need to hear from the Lord.
Join us at Faith as we dig into the Prophet Haggai-- "That I May Take Pleasure in It."
