Missed opportunities—whether personal, in families or even in the marketplace—most often occur because we aren’t prepared because we’re aren’t paying attention. Being prepared when opportunity knocks is more important than almost anything else in shaping a preferred future. Readiness is participation in the Kingdom now, not just preparation for the future. As we continue our study of the Gospel of Luke, we are diving into Jesus' warnings about living in a state of preparedness because the Kingdom is always closer than we think.
