Lean back and just listen.  Sit back and watch.  The world has standards, and rewards for those who stand out, or shine.  It makes you wonder.  What if we all “stood out”?  As Christians, Jesus believes we do… and that, through Him, we will change the world.

The phrase “light of the world” is found three times in the Bible.  Jesus had always referred to Himself as the “Light of the World”, but later adds that we, His followers, are to be the Light.  This changes everything.  All that we do should not be for personal gain, but to reflect who we are as Christians.  Our good works should catch the attention of others, not to impress, but to show to the world the changes that God has made in us.  We shine LIGHT to glorify God.
