A Tale of Two Kingdoms
June 6, 2021 Pastor: Dr. Jeffrey D. Hoy Series: Major Truth: Minor Prophets
Verse: 1 Samuel 8:1–22
There is a great deal of talk today about justice and injustice-- compassion and callousness-- integrity and corruption-- hope and despair-- concern and prejudice. The issues are complex and the viewpoints run the gamut. But what does the Bible say about these things? How does God's Word guide us in times so tumultuous that we are tempted to tune it all out?
The reality is that there are no new issues. Humanity has before grappled with these immensely difficult cultural conflicts and God has spoken through people called Prophets. Their names are sometimes difficult to pronounce, but the truth they declare cuts through the talk and the culture and reaches into our hearts.
Join us this weekend at Faith Fellowship Church as we study the Word in what we call the Minor Prophets. There is nothing small or minor in these proclamations of truth. Major Truth-- Minor Prophets.
