Hebrews 2
[10] In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. [11] Both the one who makes men holy and those who are made holy are of the same family. So Jesus is not ashamed to call them brothers. [12] He says, "I will declare your name to my brothers; in the presence of the congregation I will sing your praises."[13] And again, "I will put my trust in him." And again he says, "Here am I, and the children God has given me."
BOOK REVIEW
TITLE: Salvation
AUTHOR: God
RELEASE: A.D. 33 Olive Press
In a day when huge sums of money are advanced to people who can hardly put two words together, it is refreshing to hear from a well-known Author who is eminently qualified to write on a subject. Of course, such a qualification was not reached by any shortcut or short‑lived notoriety. As with any great work, the Author became qualified for this work by enduring a certain amount of life agony.
We may well ask: Just how does One qualify to author a work such as "Salvation"? To answer that question, we must go back to the beginning. Of course, you will remember that the Author of "Salvation" is also known for a previous work, "Creation," from Yahweh Press. To author "Creation", the writer simply required a great deal of power and will so as to speak the work into existence.
But authoring "Salvation" was different. The Author faced an adversary with which He was not personally acquainted at all— Sin. For this reason, authoring "Salvation" required entering into human existence. Doing so made Him perfect for the task. Of course, this did not "perfect" Him in terms of holiness— for the Author was already perfect! But this did "perfect" Him for the task of authoring "Salvation."
In Jesus, the Author became part of the human family He had created in a way He had never done before. He entered into human suffering without succumbing to it. He entered into sinful flesh without becoming sinful. He carried the consequence of sin even though He was completely pure. The result was the ability to call humanity "brothers" or family. It was from this vantage point that He authored "Salvation." The rest is History.
Since that time, "Salvation" has become a runaway bestseller. It is perhaps the most widely read work in History, having been received by millions. Its popularity seems to grow with each generation. It is ever contemporary and always compelling in its appeal to a new generation. It is accessible to the uneducated and a constant challenge to the finest scholars. Its truths are most easily perceived by a child, and yet they are a comfort and treasure to the aged. The original has never required revision. The first Edition can be trusted wholly.
Most reviewers note that "Salvation" remains a bit pricey. You won't find it on a clearance table. In fact, it will be by far the most expensive volume in your personal library. In fact, no one we have found could actually afford to purchase the work, so all known copies have been distributed at the Author's expense!
But as an added touch, each volume is signed by the author and inscribed personally to the reader. This reviewer gives "Salvation" the very highest personal endorsement and counts his copy as the greatest treasure. Get your copy today.
Lord, thank You for being willing to suffer so that You might author my copy of Salvation. Thank You for personally signing my volume. Thank You for making me part of Your family. In Jesus' name, Amen.
