This Sunday at Faith

This weekend our country will celebrate 233 years since the birth of our nation. On Sunday we will give thanks for the blessings of this great nation and the freedom we have to worship freely. We will also pray for our nation. Few could deny that our nation has rarely been in such a great need for prayer. The journey back to God, to His forgiveness and favor, begins on our knees in humility and repentant prayer.
God said: If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14).
We will be praying for our nation during these decisive days as a part of our worship services along with thousands of congregation across the country. The declaration found there says simply-- I will answer God's call to fall on my knees in humility and seek His face in repentance so that He might forgive my sins and heal our land.
